1.Kadambini Ganguly (1861–1923) – First Indian female physician, and one of the first two female graduates in India.

2.Anandi Gopal Joshi (1865–1887) – First Indian female physician (the first Indian woman to obtain a medical degree).

3.Rukhmabai (1864–1955) – First Indian female physician to practice medicine in colonial India.

4.Cornelia Sorabji (1866–1954) – First Indian woman to practice law in India and the first woman to graduate from Oxford University.

5.Kamini Roy (1864–1933) – First Indian woman to graduate with honors, and also a poet, social worker, and feminist.

6.Sarla Thakral (1914–2008) – First Indian woman to earn a pilot’s license and fly an aircraft.

7.Anna Chandy (1905–1996) – First female judge in India and in Asia.
